ACTIVATION OF “PRENOT@MI” FOR THE CONSULATE OF ITALY IN MANCHESTER
From 30th May 2022 it will be possible for citizens residing in the future Manchester district to make an appointment at the Consulate counters for the following consular services:
– passports for Italian citizens over 12 years of age;
– electronic identity cards (CIE);
– marriage publications.
More information on these services can be found on our website, while appointments can be made through the Prenot@mi portal. Additional consular services will be made available in the coming weeks, hand in hand with the activation of the Consulate and in view of its opening to the public, scheduled for 18th July 2022.
As of today, citizens residing in the future district of Manchester who already have a Prenot@mi account and are registered with the Consulate General in London will have to select “United Kingdom – Manchester, Consulate of Italy” as their pertinent site, via the “Change Consulate” option. Those who do not have a Prenot@mi account will have to register on the portal and select “United Kingdom – Manchester, Consulate of Italy” as their pertinent site from the start.
We kindly remind you that those who have already booked an appointment at the Consulate General in London for a date prior 18th July 2022 must present themselves there as scheduled, unless specifically notified. On the other hand, appointments set for a later date (after 18th July 2022) will be transferred to the Consulate in Manchester – which will contact those interested for further details.
For emergency services, please refer to the Consulate General in London – which remains competent for the area until July 17th.
