The Tax ID Code is a unique code used to identify individuals in all interactions with Italian public entities and administrations. Depending on the circumstances, both Italian citizens and foreign citizens residing in this consular district About us – Consolato d’Italia a Manchester (esteri.it) can request the assignment or certification of the fiscal code. This does NOT apply to legal entities (companies, corporations, etc.), which must request the fiscal code directly. Italian and foreign citizens who are NOT residents in the district can request the fiscal code from the Agenzia delle Entrate or through the competent consular authority based on their residence link.
