List of Italian professionals available to consular users

Published below is a list of Italian professionals operating within the jurisdiction of the Consulate of Italy in Manchester. The names are listed in alphabetical order as requested by the concerned parties. The list, in fact, is not intended to be exhaustive of the various professionals operating in the jurisdiction, and is therefore open to additions at the request of the interested parties. Such request can be made by writing an e-mail to manchester.servizi@esteri.it, and must be accompanied by:

- professional curriculum vitae;

- self-certification regarding knowledge of the Italian language, the fact of having no criminal convictions and no pending criminal proceedings;

- copy of an identity document;

- data to be published on the Consulate's website, including: First and Last Name or Business Name, profession, address, telephone number, e-mail, website (if applicable), specialization (if applicable), other useful information.

The Consulate of Italy in Manchester does not run checks on the professionals’ activities, nor is it liable for their actions. Therefore, the Consulate is not liable for the quality of the services provided by said professionals, nor for the outcomes of any relationship between them and the consular users. This Consulate disclaims any responsibility for damages resulting from inaccuracies or omissions in the personal data provided by the professionals.

The consulate reserves the right to verify on a yearly basis the possession of the qualifications required by individual professionals, as well as their availability. In case of unavailability, the professional's name will be removed from the list without notice.

TRANSLATORS AND INTERPRETERS

In order to be accepted by the British academic authorities, English translations of Italian Degrees must be accompanied by a certification by the translator, on their business letterhead, stating that the English text conforms to the Italian text.

British academic institutions will only accept English translations of Italian qualifications that are accompanied by a statement, written by the translator on headed paper, certifying that the translated document is a true translation of the Italian original.

PUBLIC NOTARIES

In order to be valid in Italy, documents signed by the Notary Public must be legalized by the "Legalisation Department of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office." For more information visit the link: https://www.gov.uk/get-document-legalised
